- At 9:25 am this morning I received a phone call from Len Gengel saying that “Britney is alive and being transported out of the region by RED 24 via helicopter.” Thank you all for your prayers…they worked! (@highlandwhite)
- Britney, Stephanie and 2 other Lynn U students were found alive by a rescue crew sent from Lynn U that started digging in the rubble at daybreak. They were helicoptered into the D.R. military hospital

Bonjour Tina,
Je suis tres touche par cette marque de sympathie. Oui je vais bien. Cependant, jusqu`a cette minute, je n`arrive pas communiquer avec ma belle soeur ses enfants et les autres membres de la famille qui vivent a Port-au-Prince. Les deux principales compagnies de telephone mobile sont egalement touchees et sont par consequent dans l`impossibilite d`offrir leur service.
L`idee d`une levee de fonds est excellente. A Las cahobas le seul centre hospitalier est deborde par les blesses qui reviennent de Port-au-Prince. La nourriture et les medicaments se font deja rares. Nombreuses sont les familles a Las cahobas qui sont obliges d`heberger des parents victimes qui fuient Port-au-Prince.
Pour le moment a Las cahobas on a enregistre tres peu de cas de maisons detruites par le seisme. Il en existe quelques unes cependant. Toute la population Las cahobassienne est en deuil. Les gens sont dans les rues et ont ete oblige de veiller tres tard en dehors de leur maison les nuits du 12 et 13 janvier ecoules par crainte de secousses prevues pour ces soirees.
